How To Connect to Shopify?

You can use Wordze to generate blog posts for your Shopify store. To connect Wordze to Shopify, first create a Shopify Store Admin API for Wordze. To do this follow the steps below.

In your Shopify Store, go to Settings, select Apps and sales channels, then click on Develop Apps.

Click on the button Allow Custom App Development. Note you will be asked twice to confirm this before you can proceed.

Click on Create an App and a window will open up for you to fill in App name.

Fill in the App name and then click on Create app.

Under the App Development Overview, select Configure Admin API scopes.

Allow Wordze access as follows:

read and write access to Files, to view or manage files.

read and write access to Online Store pages, to view or manage Online Store pages.

read and write access to Store content, to view or manage articles, blogs, comments, pages, and redirects.

Note you can use the search bar to help you easily find each permission. Save your selections.

You will then be taken to the Overview section, click on Install App.

Confirm the installation.

Under the API Credentials section, click on Reveal token once to get access to your Admin API access token. Copy the API token to somewhere that you can easily access later on.

Now that you have your Shopify Admin API token, you can log into your Wordze account, go to Sites, click on NEW and fill in the required information.

For the Site URL, this is the URL of your shopify store (yourshopifystore.myshopify.com) which you can locate in the Settings section of your Shopify account. If you use a custom domain, then please use the myshopify.com URL that directs to the custom domain, which can be found under Domains settings.

Enter in your Shopify Admin API token and then click on Connect.

You will then get the option to select the Shopify Blog(s) that you want to publish content to. If you have created Authors in Shopify, you will be able to select the author at this stage as well.

Once you have made your selection, click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.

That's it, Wordze will then connect to your Shopify Blog and you will be able to publish your AI generated content directly from Wordze to your Shopify Blog.

Note that if you don't have Authors in Shopify, you can still connect and content will be published as Shopify API.
