How To Connect My WordPress Site?

Once logged in to Wordze, click on your name at the bottom left of the page and select Sites.

On the Your Sites page, click on the New button at the top right of the page.

Fill the Site Name, Site URL and Project.

Note that for the Site URL, this should be the WordPress Address (URL) that you have set in your WordPress settings as shown in the image below.

In WordPress, using your WordPress Administrator account, create a WordPress Application Password. If you do not know how to create a WordPress Application Password, you can refer to this article for more information on how to create a WordPress Application Password.

In WordPress make sure that in addition to the Administrator user, you have another user created with the role of either Author or Editor, as there must be a user with one of these roles for Wordze to be able to connect and publish articles to your WordPress site.

In Wordze, fill in the Administrator WordPress Username and WordPress Application Password that you created in step 4 above and then click Connect.

A dropdown menu will appear for you to select either and Author or Editor that can publish content to your site. Select the Author or Editor and click on the Save button located at the bottom right of the page.

If you do not have any users in your WordPress account with an Author or Editor role, you will not be able to connect and will get an error message that "We were unable to fetch any Author or Editor Account", in which case you need to go back to step 5 above.

You can refer to the video below for more information.

If you have followed the steps above, and you are not able to connect Wordze to your WordPress site, please refer to this article for other possible reasons for failure to connect.
